You take care of your body which oneday you gonna decay and leave in this earth. So, why not take care of your mind which always with you?, calm it down, slow it down, still it, tranqulise it, unify it so that you’ll be happy in this life itself, not after death.

If you do not live a harmonious life, how can you expect peace after death? Do not listen to any one if it does not work in this life. You should be able to test it in this life, then accept or reject it.

The only way to take care of your mind is to purify your mind by Meditation by removing hindrances obstructing peace. Once your mind is healthy, it has a tremendous impact on the body.

In Sri Lanka, the ancient indigenous/ayurvedic Sinhalese doctors never charged for medical treatment because they always worked out of compassion and loving kindness as taught by the Buddha. This practice by descenders of such families, you can see in remote villeges even today.

This is their remedy:

1. Eat the raw leaves of “Akkapana”,grown in sri lanka, this is the Sinhalese name. You’ll see the results in few hours.

2. Boil “Polpala” all parts of the plant: root, leaves, flowers and stem, and drink this water. Your kidney and blader will be washed out. NB: Do not drink this for more than twice a week.

3. For diabetes: Eat the vegetable ” Karawila” either cooked or raw at least once daily, and check for sugar and surprise your doctor. This vegetable is bitter but your have to eat if you need to cure yourself, right, for us its just a vegetable eating the whole life.

You guys have a lot to learn from the East to balance your life with Nature, compassion/loving kindness, money, pride, greed, material pocession/development, simplicity of life, caring for others, and PEACE/harmony.
